A Lesson Learned and Acted upon Produces results

Today I would like to share with you how we can overcome some of the things in our lives that we call problems. Life is a school where we came to learn how to co-create with our God. It is not on our terms but on the terms of the creator ” Isaiah 43:1 But now thus said the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine.”

If he says we are his then everything about us belongs to him, both the good and the bad so we have to adjust our way of thinking to be in line with his way of thinking. “Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

There are times when we feel like victims of situations or circumstances, these are the moments we need to recognize as our teachers. Life changing lessons are lent through the most difficult experiences of our lives and I have learned that every time you meet with a challenge, acknowledge that it is there, then stand back and look at it from different levels and angles, which means you have to be ready to perceive things differently. Mostly I have had to ask myself a very simple question like ” What do I need to learn from this?” and often I start to perceive the situation correctly and within a short period of time, that situation has no power over me but becomes just another event that has happened in my life.

Some things don’t go straight away you have to work on them bit by bit until you feel clear of it and this you will know by the way you react or respond to anything similar to that issue if it arises. I say this because some things I have managed to overcome when similar situation arises, I don’t panic and fret like I used to, I am just at peace with all despite what I see. I have learned that some situations that manifest in our lives at different stages are just asking us to recognise that they still exist and are looking for a way out and when we clear them out it’s a lesson passed and we are ready to move on with our lives.

But what I have noticed we do is, we look at the situation and perceive that it is a problem, and you know problems needs to be solved so we start trying to solve the problem but in doing so we are giving a lot of our power to the issue which makes it more difficult to resolve, then we look for other people to help us pray it away and now it is in no longer just one persons energy going to it but a group energy which makes the situation even more difficult to get rid of and in a short space of time we run out of steam and we lose hope.

Then we create a story that will make us feel better and life goes on, but the issue is not gone so it keeps resurfacing now and again but we have grown so used to it and it has become part of lives at times we no longer make effort to resolve but we even joke about it. In reality it starts to affect our lives in other ways creating a crisis that will keep us going in cycles which is the way we create generational inheritance. If you want to see the inheritances in your life compare your parents lives, your siblings and yours, notice the similarities in the issues that you all have to deal with.

These issues needs a generational changer, someone who is willing to stand and change their life and the lives of their family members. Someone who is not looking to be a celebrity, but who has a willing heart to fulfill destiny. Someone who recognises that this could be the reason they were born in that family to change the things your fore fathers failed on. A family needs only one person who is willing to be different, who is willing to be like Jesus Christ and break the hold of destructive beliefs and inheritances and usher in a new way of living that is based on the word of God.

Could that person be you?

We have learned to name it and claim it and many times it does not work, I have spent time finding out why it is not working, and I have had glimpses into the truth. One thing that made the bulb light on me was the fact that we need to work out our salvation this means we have to clean ourselves before we can start to name it and claim it. It is like changing a babies soiled nappy first, clean the baby and then apply a clean nappy. But most of us we know that there is a stink, but we keep putting a clean nappy without changing the dirty diaper. So the thing is no matter how much perfume we put on the smell will always be there it will even contaminate the clean one and the results remain the same. We will only attract those things that like bad smells and good things run fast from us.

The truth lies in these verses, “Matt 6:33 But seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

“Luke 17: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

So what you are seeking is not on the outside of you but inside, all you need to do is remove the dirt that is blocking it and it will shine forth, for we are the light of the world and we need to light up so others can see the way as we lead.

I believe the statement that says be the change you want to see in others!!!!!

Love and blessings to you all.
